Ojo Council Boss Donates 22 Security Vans



The executive Chairman of Ojo local Government, Prince Yinka Durosinmi, has donated 22 vehicles to security agencies and various government establishments in order to effectively combat crime in the area. 
The vehicles were distributed to Neighbourhood Watch, Project Monitoring Department, Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Local Government Service Commission, Market Leaders, Environmental Sanitation, among others.

While presenting the vehicles to the security officers, Prince Durosinmi urged the beneficiaries to make the best usage of the vehicles in order derive maximum utilization for the money spent on getting them and towards meeting the challenges of a megacity.
 In his words, “I have made it a point to invest in human and infrastructural development to meet the challenges of a megacity.’’
Also, Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Prince Ademorin Kuye, while speaking at the event charged beneficiaries to maintain the vehicles and to avoid using them to run personal business to the detriment of the objective of its allocation.
In addition, computer sets were distributed to various government offices and departments in the council to prepare for the Council Computerization Programme.
