Boko Haram in Lagos

  • One of the houses (arrowed) where the suspects were arrested
It is very obvious now that the members of Boko Haram have already infiltrated the South-West area, particularly the Hausa Community, given the discovery made by soldiers in Lagos last Thursday. The security agents, soldiers, police, SSS, civil defence and other agencies of state should be at alert and vigilant on any tip-off received.
Since they have banned motorcycle riding in the northern states, all sort of people have moved down to the south, doing all kind of jobs and whose identities can’t be determined. There is therefore the need for proper surveillance to bring out such people like Ibrahim Musa, who was occupying five rooms and keeping bombs, ammunition and Ak-47 in the ceiling. In future, where such discovery is made, such house should be destroyed and the owner prosecuted for harbouring them. Residents should be vigilant in their neigbourhoods, to identify new entrants and their place of work. All illegal aliens and Nigeriens should be identified and sent parking immediately.
